Short version: we couldn't get “Understandable” — so we made it our own. The missing letter is a wink, on purpose. It's a little reminder that you don't need perfect spelling, fancy words, or a decoder ring to actually get things.
That's the whole promise in the name: take something confusing and make it undastandable — plain English, the way a smart friend would explain it. (Yes, our English teacher has notes. Our readers don't.)
