Tools

What are you starting with?

Choose the source in front of you. The working tools below take a question, video, file, dense passage, article or ZIP code and help you do one clear next task.

Instructions How these tools work — click to open

These tools all do one job: take messy or complicated source material and turn it into something plain and usable. Here's the simplest path through them.

  1. Pick the tool that matches your source. Have a confusing document or PDF? Use the File Explainer. Have a YouTube video? Use the Web Transcriber. Have hard text to make plain? Use Dumb It Down. Have a question to look into? Use the Research Engine. Want to check public votes? Use the Voter Tool. Read or watched something and want to test its claims? Take our Fact-Check Anything instructions to your own AI.
  2. Add your material. Each tool tells you exactly what to paste, upload, or link. Most also let you paste text directly if a file won't load.
  3. Choose the output. Where offered, pick what you want back — a plain-English explainer, a summary, key terms, or a draft.
  4. Run it and review. Click the action button, wait a few seconds, then read the result. Everything is a draft — check it against your original before you rely on it.
  5. Open a tool's own Instructions. Every working tool has its own step-by-step "Instructions" panel like this one at the top of its page.

Note: every tool below works today. Each card's label says whether it is free or for subscribers.
